Three books about how other people work

Jul 30, 2020

Hello! Today I want to share with you three books that will give you insights into how other people work.

Daily Rituals by Mason Currey

In this book, Mason Currey looks at the lives of creatives, artists and scientists throughout history and looks at exactly what their daily working routine looked like and spells it out for you. This is a really fascinating read. And most of the daily routines are one, two, or three pages at most, which makes it a great read for just popping in for a few pages at a time.

It’s really interesting in Daily Rituals to see certain patterns of how the most productive people tend to structure their days.

These three books will tell you how productive people approach their work. Click To Tweet

Tools of Titans by Tim Ferriss

This one is a hefty one.

In Tools of Titans, Tim Ferriss interviews innumerable people about their attitudes to how they approach their work, as well as practical details of how they work day-to-day. This is a great opportunity to get a first-hand account from a broad range of successful people about the mindset that they have toward their work.

My Morning Routine by Benjamin Spall and Michael Xander

In this book, you once again get a bunch of first-hand accounts from a broad range of people. But this time, it’s about how they approach one very specific part of their day, the morning.

How we choose to spend our morning sets us up for how we spend the rest of our day. So it’s fascinating to see how a broad range of people have chosen to spend this very important time.
